Iron Man Recast? Robert Downey, Jr 'Would Really Hate' That
The actor tells MTV News he expects to play the superhero 'for a long while.'

With the Avengers finally assembling next week, Marvel Studios and the stars behind the heroes have already begun to look ahead to the next films set in the comic-book universe. At the closing night celebration of the Tribeca Film Festival on Saturday night (April 28), Robert Downey, Jr. spoke with MTV News about the future of his character, Iron Man, and addressed recent talk about other actors playing the role in the future.
At CinemaCon last week, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige mentioned to Badass Digest that when it came time for Downey to leave the role of Tony Stark behind, a new actor could pick up right where he left off, like in the James Bond films.
But Downey told MTV News on the red carpet that he wasn't so thrilled about the idea of someone else playing Tony Stark. "I would really hate for someone else to think they could step into my shoes," he said. An infamous jokester, he couldn't help but ask, "I wonder who's playing Tony Stark next. Is it you? Is that what you're here to tell me?"
But Downey can't be Iron Man forever, and while the 42-year-old actor couldn't say for sure how many movies he has left in him, he made clear he'll be interested as long as they remain good films.
"I know things are looking like that they could go on for a long while," Downey said. "As usual in my book, it's all about quality control and delivering a product that you can have this kind of reaction to. If they keep doing that, maybe I'll keep showing up."
In Downey's immediate Marvel future, there's next year's "Iron Man 3." The past few weeks have seen actors like Sir Ben Kingsley, Guy Pearce and Jessica Chastain potentially joining the cast, and Downey said that he could not wait to work with "any or all of them."
"It's funny. Sometimes you have to call for a good old-fashioned British invasion," Downey said. "'Iron Man 3' is really shaping up to be something special. We start in a couple weeks. I'm sure I'll be leaking secrets to you as we move ahead."
What secrets, you ask? Well, it was recently announced that "Iron Man 3" would be co-produced in China. As for whether any filming would take place in the East, Downey was less forthcoming. "I'd like to tell you all my secrets," he said," but I forget them."

One Direction's Harry Styles' Celebrity Crushes Reveal Taste For Older Women
Styles says he'd like to date Angelina Jolie, Kate Moss or Kate Winslet.

One Direction's Harry Styles is opening up about the older ladies he's crushing on, and nowhere in there was Taylor Swift's name mentioned, despite rumors that something romantic might have been brewing.
According to the Sun out of the U.K., the floppy-haired boy bander is crushing on three ladies even older than 22-year-old Swift: The 18-year-old shared that, if given the chance, he would date Angelina Jolie (36), Kate Moss (38) or Kate Winslet (36). Any of those three wouldn't be his first older woman: He previously dated 32-year-old TV presenter Caroline Flack.
For any girl out there who is not one of those three superstars and is looking for a way to catch the singer's attention, Styles candidly revealed what he likes his ladies to wear. "I like my girlfriends to wear black lingerie ... definitely," he shared.
But, the romance talk didn't end there. He noted that if he sees a lady he thinks is pretty, well, he doesn't exactly have any smooth lines he likes to use on her. "I'm not really a pick-up-line guy. I don't know what I do," he confessed.
Harry has been linked to quite a few ladies since 1D dropped their debut album, Up All Night, last month — none of which have been Winslet, Jolie or Moss. However, his list of rumored ladies does include American singer Lily Halpern, New York-based photographer Sarah-Louise Colivet, Victoria's Secret model Emma Ostilly and former "Bachelorette" Jillian Harris.
With some time off before the guys kick off their U.S. tour next month, Styles is opening up about his favorite places and how he's looking forward to the downtime. "I'm so tired. It was pretty intense, but a lot of fun. I have six weeks to chill out now," he told BBC Radio 1. "My favorite places were New York and Sydney. I'd never been to Australia or New Zealand before, so that was sick."

'Dark Knight Rises,' 'Hobbit' Footage Screens At CinemaCon
While fans and critics called Nolan's footage 'explosive and awesome,' many were not as enthusiastic about Peter Jackson's.

The Warner Bros. panel at CinemaCon was among one of the most highly anticipated of the gatherings of film fans, journalists and theater owners. Rumors of footage from Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit" at a revolutionary 48 frames per second and potential appearance from Christopher Nolan and "The Dark Knight Rises" made the panel a can't-miss event.
Soon after the conclusion of the panel, bloggers and journalists from across the industry shared their immediate reactions with the world, and the results spell good things for Batman fans, but could mean doom for those awaiting a return to Middle Earth.
"The Dark Knight Rises" was an expected but unannounced feature of the panel, and the reaction so far on Twitter has been unanimously positive.
"THE DARK KNIGHT RISES footage was as awesome as you'd expect. Saw footage of 'The Bat' in action. IMAX stuff looks sick. Nolan is amazing" — Steven Weintraub, Collider
"Also of note: Bane's voice has been seriously amplified & clarified in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, and I don't care what anyone says. "— Josh Dickey, Variety
"The Dark Knight Rises footage was explosive and awesome. #CinemaCon" — Peter Sciretta, /Film
The reactions to the 48-fps footage from 'The Hobbit,' however, were less than stellar. Many complained that the faster frame rate did not look like a film, but most agreed that the bump improved the quality of the 3-D. The footage included several scenes, including the famous sequence of Bilbo challenging Gollum to a series of riddles.
"Listening to Cinemacon people - theater owners - this 48fps demo sold NOBODY," — Devin Faraci, Badass Digest
"Great Scott, THE HOBBIT in 48 frames-per-second is a thing to behold. Totally different experience. Not all will like the change." — Dickey
"Saw ten minutes of Hobbit in 48fps 3D. Very exciting, but I'm now very unsure about higher framerates #CinemaCon" — Peter Sciretta, /Film
It's likely this will only be the beginning of the 48 fps date, as several films, including James Cameron's proposed "Avatar" sequels, are planning to utilize the technology.
Baz Luhrmann's "Great Gatsby" also showed off footage for the first time to the public, but its 3-D was received much more warmly.
"Also saw ~5 mins of The Great Gatsby raw 3D footage and WOW. Baz has made a beautiful, 3D drama, really enhances the experience. Whoa." — Alex Billington, First Showing
"Writing up THE HOBBIT. Drinking while doing it. GREAT GATSBY was gorgeous, though." — Faraci
