SAN ANTONIO — Two Texas football players have been suspended for Saturday’s Valero Alamo Bowl after reports that they were involved in an alleged sexual assault at a downtown hotel. Longhorns coach Mack Brown declined to name the two suspended players, or whether they were starters. He said they were suspended for breaking team rules, and will be “sent home.” KENS-TV reported a woman accused two UT players of sexual assault at the Holiday Inn Riverwalk early Friday morning. The names of the suspects were not released. No charges have been filed, and no arrests have been made.
